About This Course

NASPA has launched a new online offering exclusively for vice presidents for student affairs. Coffee with Kevin provides NASPA member VPSAs with the opportunity to engage in a virtual environment with Kevin and his invited guests in informal but focused discussion on topics of importance to institutional leaders. Participation is limited to vice presidents for student affairs and there is no fee to participate. Pour yourself a cup of your favorite workday beverage and join Kevin for a lively discussion about pressing and emerging issues in student affairs and higher education.

Back to School Does Not Mean Business as Usual

During this premiere session of Coffee with Kevin, Kevin will forecast for vice presidents for student affairs the issues that will most significantly impact student affairs and higher education during the new academic year. He’ll have some suggestions about how institutional leaders can address the enduring and emerging challenges that face our institutions. He’ll also be joined by some guest VPSAs who will share their perspectives about the year ahead.

Accessing the Presentation

Once you complete your registration, you will be able to access the course by clicking on the "Login" button at the top of this page (or any page on

  • You will be asked to login with your NASPA user name and password. Once you have done so, you will hit continue and be redirected to your dashboard in the Online Learning Community.

  • You will find the session listed under "Enrolled."

  • Live session access information will be listed before the session has aired.

  • All sessions are recorded. Once the session is over, the recording will be available approximately one week after the air date. You may view the materials as many times as you'd like, at whatever pace you would like.

Updating your Registration

If after you register, you would like to add or remove session dates, please follow these steps:

  • Click on "Take this Course" above.
  • Log in using your NASPA username and password (if you are not already logged in).
  • Click "Manage Registration."
  • Select "Edit Existing," then on your name when it appears, and then "Next."
  • Check or uncheck session dates based on your availability, and then select "Checkout."
