with Beth Bagwell, Becca Berkey, Bill Cook, Shane Farver, Stephanie King, Mallory Pernaa, Rebecca Regan, Kimberly Santo, Hilary Sullivan, Melissa Yack Hall

About This Course

Since the Ogden Collaborative gathering in May 2017 the NASPA LEAD Initiative has been working intentionally with community-based organizations to further the civic mission of higher education. A result of this intentionality is a partnership with the International Town and Gown Association to explore the dynamic interplay between higher education institutions and the communities in which these institutions reside.

This session is intended to further explore the relationships and potential collaborations between colleges and universities and the communities in which they reside. Participants of this session can anticipate learning more about the NASPA LEAD Initiative, the International Town and Gown Association, and to learn from colleagues at institutions in Utah and Massachusetts about how they manage and create strategic partnerships.
