Domonic Rollins serves as the newly appointed Senior Diversity Officer and Special Assistant to the Deans in the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University. In this role, he is responsible for providing leadership and vision for diversity and inclusion initiatives to align with the school-wide priorities. Also, he executes a broad range of strategic and tactical activities related to the identification, development, and delivery of diversity and inclusion initiatives for faculty, students and staff. Previously, he served as the Senior Education and Training Specialist in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. His research focuses on issues of professional socialization, social justice training in student affairs, and pathways to senior leadership for student affairs professionals of color. His dissertation research investigates how Black male administrators navigate racism in higher education. During his entire career, Domonic has mentored professionals of color. His guidance has aided professionals of color in negotiating, managing, and thriving at their respective institutions. Domonic earned his M.Ed. in Higher Education Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont, and is completing his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland.
