NASPA Advisory Services: External Reviews and Assessments to Enhance Your Student Affairs Division

with Joseph DeSanto Jones

About This Course

About Program

NASPA Advisory Services provides external reviews and self-assessments of student affairs divisions in order to enhance and support their practice. Our services are grounded in NASPA’s mission and were developed in partnership with student affairs leaders. The primary framework for review and self-assessment is called P.R.A.C.T.I.C.E.S., and focuses on student affairs’ policies, resources, partnerships with academic affairs, compliance, technology, inclusion, community, evidence-based practice, and student success initiatives.

NASPA external reviewers know firsthand the difficult challenges faced by vice presidents, having served directly in SSAO roles, and work as peers to guide and support student affairs divisions participating in reviews. Each review team includes current and retired vice presidents, senior-level student affairs officers, and subject matter experts with extensive leadership and management experience at similar institutions.

This live briefing will feature an overview by NASPA director of strategic initiatives, Joseph DeSanto Jones. Please join us to learn about NASPA’s review and assessment framework and services, having your division participate in an external review, and how you can join our pool of senior-level reviewers.
