DuShaun Branch is the assistant director of student involvement at North Central College in Naperville, Il. In her role, DuShaun manages a team of student staff at the Harold and Eva White Activities Center, trains and assists more than 60 plus campus organizations and serves as one of the organizers and facilitators for the campus dialogue program, Fireside Chats. DuShaun received her bachelors in science from Illinois State University and her MBA from Dominican University in River Forest IL.
Dorothy Pleas is the director of multicultural affairs at North Central College in Naperville, IL. In her role as director, Dorothy supports the success and achievement of students from underrepresented backgrounds as well as overseeing multicultural programming on campus. She also serves as coordinator of the student affairs division assessment efforts. Prior to coming to North Central, Dorothy served as the director of campus life and international student advisor at Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. She received her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and her master’s degree from Southwestern College.
Kimberly Sluis serves as North Central College’s Vice President for Student Affairs and Strategic Initiatives. In her senior leadership role, she oversees all aspects of student development, including counseling and medical services, campus safety and residence life, orientation and first-year programs, the campus behavioral intervention team, student conduct, Title IX, campus ministry, career development, volunteerism, multicultural affairs and first-generation student support. Sluis also manages the College's strategic plan and spearheads a variety of campus initiatives and projects. In addition to her administrative work, Sluis teaches classes in conflict resolution, cross-cultural transition, and higher education administration
